Here are the specs, as posted into an HP-internal newsgroup. As it
has been announced, there shouldn't be any problems with me reposting
this information.

PLEASE do *NOT* ask me any questions about this product, as I am
not connected with it, and really don't know a thing about it, aside
from the following. I'm just reposting some specs for everyone's
information.

Some things not in the spec sheet:

The mass storage (hard disk or flash disk) is removable so is user
upgradeable. All the software in ROM is on a plug-in card which allows
for future upgrades. The maximum RAM capacity the OmniBook supports is
8 MB though only 2 MB expansion modules are available initially.
OmniBook comes with the mass storage initialized with MS-DOS Dblspace
compression. The LCD is reflective. The optional plug-in internal modem
is 2400 baud with 9600 baud send/receive FAX. The modem has its own slot
so does not use one of the PCMCIA slots. The US list of the hard disk
product is $1950 and the flash disk product is $2375.
